| St. Louis Championship Wrestling Presents
The World Tag Team Invitational The World Tag Team Invitational is a massive, 8 team, two part tournament with matches happening weekly until completion.
The first part of the tournament is a round robin bracket, meaning all eight teams face one another once. Each team is awarded points for wins. After the round robin is complete, the top six teams will advance to the double elimination round, meaning you have to lose twice to be out of the tournament(Not counting the championship match if you make it undefeated.) The tournament starts the first week following the host promotion, SLCW, event Live From Scottrade. Teams that are invited are obviously staying with their promotion and competing on their respected shows as their GM's see fit, but will have to travel to St. Louis and the surrendering areas(Including Chicago, Kansas City and Indianapolis) for a match a week. The following teams are officially invited to the first annual World Tag Team Invitational:
The Steiner Brothers(NCW) *Accepted
World's Greatest Tag Team(ICW) *Accepted
Road Warriors(UCW) *Accepted
Terry Funk and Vampiro(SHW) *Declined
Cryme Tyme(Titanclash) *Accepted
The Living Legends(BSW) *Declined
The Mexicools(XWE) *Accepted
The Usos(SLCW) *Accepted
The Devil's Rejects(Rebellion) *Accepted
The Fallen(BSW) *Accepted If any teams decline to participate in the Invitational, then another invite will be sent to a team to take their place. The first round matchups will be posted once eight teams have accepted the invite. (Go ahead and reply on this post if you team is accepting the invite. I'm looking forward to doing this, hope you all like the idea.)

and The Uso's The seedings will be released shortly, along with a complete schedule. Seedings will be completely randomized for the round robin part of the tournament. Seedings in the double elimination part will be based on points earned. Each team will get three points per win, and one point for a draw. The two teams with the highest seeding going into the elimination rounds will receive a bye. If two teams are tied in points, then head to head matchup will decide who is seeded higher.
