Southern Heat Wrestling SHWWW_zps38c6550d

TUESDAY NIGHT HEAT RESULTS

Note: I will give brief descriptions over the matches including who wins. I will also include neat spots in the match.

Opening Promo

The SHW World Champion, Hardcore Holly comes out to a massive pop as he brings his pick up truck to the side of the stage before heading down to the ring. He explains how excited he is now that Southern Heat Wrestling has got it's own network and then let's the fans know who proud he is to be their champion. The Miz then comes out and tells him to quit sucking up to the fans. He then proceeds to give his exact thoughts on SHW, Hardcore Holly, and the world championship. He feels as if it's a massive downgrade from the WWE. He says that he was a wrestling legend and will carry on the legacy as "The Awesome One" on "some hicks show" in order to prove that he can be the best no matter where he is. He then challenges Hardcore Holly in a match tonight which is accepted before getting the stipulation put on. Miz wants a shot at the title if he can beat Holly tonight, and being the man he is, Hardcore Holly accepts this challenge before threatening Miz to get out of his ring or he'll "Whoop his tail all over Alabama". Miz smiles and leaves the ring as if he's saying "I'll save my energy for our match tonight."

Number One Contendership to the SHW Tag Team Championships
Steel Cage

Mystic Dolphins vs Terry Funk and Vampiro

As these two hungry teams make their entrances, the two to start this battle is Terry Funk and Paul London. The two men start with a tie up but Terry Funk being the heel that he is decides to move into an assault rather than a fair test of strength and drill his knee into the gut of Paul London which is followed up with a series of punches and a few other ground moves to wear his opponent down early on. Later on in the match, Paul London gets his series of moves in which includes a springboard crossbody before tagging in his partner who gets little offense in due to Vampiro tackling him down to the ground despite him not even being the legal man. Paul helps his partner out by attacking Vampiro while Terry tries to go for the steal on Kendrick. Kendrick kicks out and continues the match with his speedy like offense until he gets a impressive clothesline by Terry Funk, almost beheading him. Terry then gets the tag to Vampiro who gets quite a bit of offense in on Kendrick before being the victim of a nasty fall to the outside. But as Kendrick looks to do a suicide dive, mid way through the ropes, Terry who's already on the apron kicks him in the head which results in Kendrick being seriously hurt on the outside. Paul of course comes to his partners aid, but the numbers game becomes to much for him as he tastes the steel post. Kendrick never recovered from that kick which results in Vampiro getting a clean victory after a Nail In The Coffin. Afterwards, the tag team champions come out to the stage with a bear in one hand, and their title in the other at an attempt to make a small statement.

SHW Hardcore Championship Match
Hardcore Match

Brian Pillman (c) vs Bobby Lashley

Pillman comes out with a mic and explains why the Hardcore Title suits him. He then brings up the gun incident with Stone Cold Steve Austin and claims that he'll do it again if he'd have to. He then gets interuppted by Bobby Lashley who is ready for a fight. Bobby charges in the ring and goes right into the attack as the bell rings. Bobby gets a strong start with a few shoulder blocks and two military presses to show off his strength. Pillman ends up reversing a DDT and tries to do some sort of arm wrench maneuver but Bobby twists back and plants him down with a spinebuster. 13 minutes in and it's a one sided match with Bobby being dominant on the outside near the ring apron as he crouches and awaits for the champion to stand so he can spear him into the steel steps, however, Pillman side steps Bobby which may be the changing point in this match. Bobby with his back to the steel steps gets a big boot by Pillman to daze him a bit. Pillman then reveals the first weapon which is a trash can. He smashes the trash can over Bobby's head once before dropping it and throwing him in the ring. He then places the trashcan upside down in the ring and looks to be going for the powerbomb before Bobby flips him over his head onto the can, completely flattening it over his back! Later on, Bobby Lashley is on the outside with Pillman, looking for the snake eyes on the barricade but Pillman slips off and throws him into it. He then goes under the ring and reveals what looks to be an alarm clock. He puts this to great use by bashing it over Bobby's head until it is completely destroyed. Later on after a brutal beatdown with a steel chair, Bobby gains a burst of life, grabs the chair out of Pillmans hand and breaks it over his head. Bobby then backs up into the corner as Pillman stands up and goes for the spear, no! Before he can charge out of the corner, a big fat white hand grabs him by the shoulder and turns him around to a knockout punch!!! Bigshow climbs over the ropes and drags his partner to place him on Bobby for the 3 count. Pillman is then carried out by The Bigshow while Bobby looks on in disappointment.

Adrian Neville Backstage Promo

Neville claims he will debut next week before being interrupted by Chavo Guerrero who basically wants Neville to see him as a threat and that for far too long he's been underestimated. Neville then asks who he is which results in him throwing a right hand before starting a big fight backstage which ends with Chavo throwing Neville into the camera and saying "I'm Chavo Fucking Guerrero!" and walking off.

Non Title
Mark Henry vs Kevin Thorn

The Ironman Champion, Mark Henry and Kevin Thorn start the match with a stare down before finally going for a lock up which results in Kevin being thrown back. This angers Kevin as he looks to be going for another tie up and instead, goes behind Mark and clips his leg. This is the is the start of the generic how to take down a big guy plan as Kevin works on that left leg for a proportion of the match but what really gives him control is an Apron DDT out of nowhere in the first 10 minutes of the match. Mark comes back eventually with a few clothesline and a huge corner splash but as he goes for a second, Kevin hits him with a drop toe hold into the corner. He then wraps Mark's legs around the ring post with a figure four before releasing it after the 4 count. Mark fails to get up after so many stomps to his leg and even a single leg Boston Crap which Kevin struggles with due to the massive width of his legs. Mark then catches him with a huge german suplex to turn things around. After a Rolling Firemans Carry, Henry looks on at the crowd with hatred in his eyes before running to the ropes and coming back with a huge body splash followed with a 2 count which is a surprise to the fans since that's usually what Henry finishes his opponents off with. He proceeds to lift Kevin up for the Worlds Strong Slam but he's forced to eat a few elbows followed by a spear after using the ropes for speed. Kevin comes back with a few ground moves before clotheslining the big man over the ropes. However, Henry holds onto the ropes which may not seem like the best idea anymore as Kevin grabs him by the head and slowly places on the ropes before turning around and dropping him with a "Dark Kiss" which is basically a rope assisted stunner. Mark is out of it as Kevin goes for the pinfall and gets the win despite Henry's foot being on the ropes! I guess the referee can't see over his gut. After celebrating a big win over the champion, he walks up to the stage before holding his arm up one more time for the fans but as he has his back turned to the entrance way, MVP out of nowhere with a cheap shot. He then mounts him and repeats with right hands to the face of Kevin Thorn before being broken up by the officials.

MVP promo

MVP is asked by Renee Young why he did what he did and all he has to say is "You gotta start somewhere baby girl."

Number One Contendership for the Ironman Championship
Chuck Palumbo vs Chris Masters

These two baby faces start by firing the crowd up with a few taunts before locking up. Masters gets the upper hand early on by sending his opponent to the corner but Chuck catches him with a knee during a shoulder thrust which sends him back enough to get hit with a clothesline. But before anything else can happen, Mark Henry is seen sliding into the ring before laying out Chuck Palumbo with the Ironman Championship Belt. This gives the referee no choice but to ring the bell and make Chuck the winner due to interference. Henry however could care less. He looks a bit salty after losing to Kevin Thorn early on so he's decided to take it out on these two up and coming stars. He then lifts Masters up and slams him with the Worlds Strongest Slam before holding his belt up high above his head.

Non Title
If Miz wins, he gets a shot at the title

The Miz vs Hardcore Holly

As Miz awaits his opponent, the crowd is awakened by the music of Hardcore Holly who comes running down to the ring ready for a fight. He starts to punch Miz with lefts and rights before knocking him back with a clothesline as the bell finally rings. Hardcore Holly attempts another clothesline but Miz reverses into an arm drag. They have nice back and forth action for a good few minutes before Miz throwing the champ into the corner and hitting him with a corner clothesline (Miz style). Miz then wants to follow up with a double axehandle of the top rope but Holly catches him with a punch to the gut bringing Miz down to his knees before getting a taste of Holly's boot. Holly gets more offense in including a few Jumping Knee Drops that really send Miz into a dazed state as he then proceeds to lift him up in the Alabama Slam, but Miz rolls out and rolls him up for only a two count. Afterwards, both men get up and Miz tries to throw a clothesline Holly's way but he ducks it and drops Miz with a DDT. He then tries for a pumphandle slam but Miz again rolls off his back but when he does, Hardcore Holly turns around and throws a backhand, hitting the referee on accident. Miz takes a quick advantage to this and immedietly rolls out of the ring for a chair, but as he gets back into the ring, Holly dropkicks the chair into his face. He then lifts the chair and smashes it over Miz's head before disposing of it and pinning him. The referee turns over and makes the 3 count. Holly raises his hand in victory as Miz holds his head in pain. The show ends with Hardcore Holly posing with the world championship over a defeated Miz.
