| The next pay-per-view is fast approaching, and every superstar on the PWL roster is vying for his place in the pecking order. But not everybody can rise to prominence, and as surely as some rise to the top, others slip and fall. This weekly index aims to capture those fluctuations in dynamic as authentically as possible. On the bubble: The SHIELDIn the first ever PWL tag team match, the SHIELD were defeated by their rivals, the Heyman Guys. But it wasn't exactly a clean win, and the SHIELD are still fuming after their defeat. What hijinx await? 5. Zach RyderThe Woo Woo Kid suffered his first loss on PWL programming against the Freakshow of the PWL last week. Now he's looking to bounce back and defend his TV championship, but his opponent is a newer face in these parts than he is. Carving out another 'W' may not be easy.4. The Heyman GuysThey're something of a super team: CM Punk and Shawn Michaels. And with a controversial win over the SHIELD in PWL's first ever tag match, they've been the focus of a lot of talk on PWL.com. But this is a team built on the strength of egos. Will Heyman be able to keep those egos united?3. ManicThe Freakshow ascendant. Manic is climbing through the ranks on a steady diet of victories coupled with a series of equally powerful statements. But his partnership with the most unpredictable man on the PWL roster could prove to be more of a liability than an asset. 2. Bray WyattWyatt continues to dominate his rival, the Wall Street Warrior, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Until somebody can find a way to defeat him, Wyatt's grip on the hearts and minds of the PWL Universe is not likely to be broken.1. Owen HartThe Mad King may have been quiet last week, but PWL.com has assurances that he will make an appearance this week on Impact. Hart is down a knight, but he still has the top title in his possession. The only question is, for how long? | |
