| Following one of the matches halfway through the show, all the lights cut out. A groovy, jazzy, almost disco-y song is playing over the sound system. Only the big screen on the stage begins to glow a bit, as if it's on, but only showing black or something dark. The camera broadcasting on the screen begins to pan up to show only the mouth and cheeks of a woman, looking to be african american, with visible lipstick on. The song begins to fade as she speaks smoothly into a mic at what appears to be a radio station. ???:
Good evening, Boppers. It would appear that our friends from Coney Islands have left their cozy little nest. Stirring trouble all around the city as the try to make their exit. Let's not let them get too far from home, now....Stay tuned, Boppers. Just as quickly as the lights went out, they turned back on as the screen went black and the show continued. (Promo Closed) | |
