| An exclusive video on PWL.com begins with a replay of the shocking footage that took place this past week on Impact, Manic assaulting Dave Turner with a baseball bat.
The picture then fades to a very serious stern looking Joey Styles Styles: Ladies and gentlemen, we here at PWL would like to confirm to you the audience, that Jeff "Manic" Merrick's actions during the segment you just watched were neither justified nor sanctioned by anybody within the company. The brutal attack that took place backstage following an official backstage brawl booked by Hulk Hogan himself, was not meant to be part of the show that evening. The assault on Dave Turner has left him unable to compete for an indeterminate amount of time, and although Manic did have a match on last night's edition of Impact, after further review it is the opinion of the management here at PWL, that Manic be suspended from taking part in the upcoming Ascension pay-per-view. We understand that the lack of both Manic and Dave Turner at the pay-per-view is a disservice to the fans of this company and for that, we apologize. However, actions have to be taken to ensure the safety of the fans, and of the superstars and staff of PWL. To be clear, the superstar you know as Manic is not being fired, however we are submitting him for a psychiatric evaluation and allowing Dave Turner to decide whether or not to press charges against Mr. Merrick. Although we did contact both Dave Turner and Manic, neither have elected to comment on the incident at this time. Please be aware that here at PWL we have the best interests of our fans in mind at all times. Thank you for your understanding.The video comes to an end, leaving some fans to wonder if this whole thing is legitimate or if it is a total work. Will Manic really be suspended from the PPV? We can only be left to speculate(closed, feedback is okay - be aware that I pulled this out of my ass though) | |

| This was a great way explain the Turner/Manic absence at the pay-per-view. Though I'm hoping Manic still makes an appearance to wreak some havoc. I look forward to seeing this feud pick back up when Crim gets back. | |
